(4) A specific assistant manager (still employed) habitually followed only a couple of steps behind me throughout the building during my maintenance checks and daily work without uttering a word - again, strange and without any explanation for the behavior.Summary: Floor Staff team members are classified based on individual theatre needs, and/or employee availability, as either variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular or full-time hourly employees whose primary responsibility is ensuring our guests receive exceptional service.
REGAL MIRA MESA HOW TO
(3) Within the first week of being hired, another Regal employee approached me and tried to lecture me on how to properly park my vehicle (my vehicle was parked both legally and properly - cannot stress how strange this conversation was) - meanwhile, during our short conversation, his vehicle was directly behind him parked on the sidewalk adjacent to the building underneath a no parking sign.
REGAL MIRA MESA DRIVER
(2) Caught one floor staff employee in the maintenance area (my workspace) in the act of taking an expensive impact driver out of my personal toolbox without any explanation why - reported it to management, no response - locked up ALL my tools after this incident. I couldn't perform my work without access to those areas. (1) My job began after-hours when no one was on-site, and in three separate instances, I arrived to find the security codes on doors had been changed without any prior notification. Truly a taxing, and absolutely physically/emotionally draining place to work.ĬEO gave himself a huge bonus during the Covid shutdown. Some of the worst I have ever had to deal with.ĭespite their constant (and rapidly increasing) managerial turnover, Regal appears to be completely disinterested in bettering itself as a company for its employees. And as a whole, communication above theatre level is absolutely awful.

They will also contradict themselves, regularly. In general, Regal upper management will be ridiculously picky about the "cleanliness" (don't make me laugh they care if you have left a paper out on your desk!). And now we will shortly (again) have to begin cleaning the entire building ourselves at night, because they are too cheap to keep janitorial crews. Not enough vac/sick days for management, and good luck using them.īuildings are held to impossible standards for locations that are not allowed more management, floor staff, and/or the hours to schedule people. But they made sure to take out the former process when they (CineWorld) took over, so they could save that money. Staff have been unable to earn raises because, after several YEARS, they still don't have a completed "program" for it. All Regals will underpay you (for ANY position) and pester you about hiring and retaining enough staff.even though there's nothing WE can offer staff/prospects that they can't get more of elsewhere.

Work/life balance is awful and the company seems uninterested in addressing that.
